Davi's Global Wind Energy Seminar 2024: a successful gathering of industry leaders
Cesena, Italy – Davi announces the success of its Global Wind Energy Seminar 2024 held at the Davi Auditorium in Cesena, which has set the stage for the WindEnergy Hamburg fair that followed. The seminar provided an overview of the latest advancements in wind energy, focusing on towers, offshore fixed-bottom foundations, and floating structures.
A full day of engaging activities
The event began with a lunch, providing a setting for attendees to network before starting the afternoon's activities. This was followed by a series of technical presentations delivered by industry experts who discussed innovative solutions and the future of wind energy technology.
After the presentations, participants were invited to a guided tour of the Davi manufacturing facility where they had the possibility to see three giant machines manufactured for three major offshore foundation fabricators. This tour gave attendees a closer look at Davi’s innovative operations and technology advancements which allow to make further steps on efficiency, productivity and safety for the plate rolling operations. At the end of the seminar, the attendees also experienced a virtual tour of Davi’s logistic center, where more than 11,000 parts are stocked for both new machines and to serve as spares.
An evening of industrial elegance
The day concluded with a factory dinner set against the backdrop of three red giants and a stunning red Ferrari Portofino. It was a true emotion for all the guests to have the opportunity to take photos aboard a supercar 'parked' next to three super plate rolls!
Kick-off to WindEnergy Hamburg
The seminar was an excellent anticipation to the WindEnergy Hamburg fair, with 30 clients traveling from the seminar to the fair on a Davi-chartered flight the following day.
Davi was present with a booth at the show and Mr. Stefano Santoni, Director of Davi Wind Energy Division, gave a significant speech during the second day of the show regarding the unique rolling solutions for offshore foundations provided by Davi.
